Changelog

September 2026

Task activity improvements

We’ve improved the task activity feed to make it easier to understand what has changed and when. Updates to assignees, statuses, notes and time logs are now displayed more consistently.

Faster task details

Opening a task from a list is now faster and smoother. We’ve also improved loading states so you can move between tasks without waiting for the full detail panel to load.

Improved time tracking

Time entries can now be added and edited more easily. Date, time and duration fields have been simplified, with better validation for incorrect entries.

Notifications for urgent requests

Users will now see a notification when new SOS requests require their attention. Notifications update automatically without needing to refresh the page.

August 2026

Better note attachments

We’ve improved the way files and links are attached to notes. Upload progress is clearer, large files are detected before upload, and attachment fields reset correctly when closing a form.

Improved image handling

Large images attached to notes are now automatically resized to reduce storage usage while preserving image quality.

Better mobile task details

The task detail experience has been refined for phones and tablets, with improved responsive modals, action menus and navigation.

More helpful form validation

Validation messages now disappear as soon as an issue is corrected, making forms feel faster and less intrusive.

July 2026

New activity filters

You can now filter task activity by organisation, project, assignee, notes and time entries. Your selected filters are remembered when you return to the task.

Improved task lists

Task lists now provide clearer selected and focus states, making navigation easier and helping you keep track of the task you’re currently viewing.

Faster navigation

We’ve reduced unnecessary page reloads when switching between tasks and improved the responsiveness of the task side panel.

June 2026

Time tracking

You can now record time spent directly against a task. Time logs include the date, completion time and total duration, and existing entries can be edited when needed.

Real-time updates

Taskitect now supports real-time task and user updates. Changes made by other team members can appear automatically without refreshing the page.

Improved search

Search results now combine information from more areas of Taskitect, helping you find tasks, organisations and related content more quickly.

May 2026

Introducing task notes

You can now add notes to tasks to keep conversations, references and supporting information in one place.

File and link attachments

Notes can include either a file attachment or an external URL, making it easier to associate documents, images and useful resources with a task.

Performance improvements

We’ve made a number of changes behind the scenes to reduce loading times and make frequently used areas of Taskitect feel more responsive.

April 2026

Refreshed task interface

We’ve redesigned parts of the task interface to give more space to your work while keeping important actions within easy reach.

Improved mobile experience

Navigation, forms and task actions have been refined for smaller screens, making Taskitect easier to use when you’re away from your desk.

Bug fixes and reliability

This release also includes a collection of smaller fixes covering task updates, form validation, notifications and general interface consistency.
